1. What are the turnkey aspects of the program?

We provide a hassle-free solution incorporating all the details including: onsite training, equipment, higher level CLIA application, standard operating procedures, suggested protocol, employee sourcing if necessary, billing and coding training, reports with antibiotic resistance that can be saved to your EHR, validation studies and test kits; everything necessary to run PCR testing onsite.

2. How quickly are the results of the test available?

As quickly as two hours for an individual test.  Typical results 4 hours-1 day.  Most practices run 3 samples at a time and give a one-day supply of a broad-spectrum antibiotic before prescribing the correct antibiotic to the patient the following day.

3. How much space is required for the equipment?

Approximately 8 linear feet for each machine.  It does not have to be continuous; it can be two 4′ spots.  You do not need a complete room build-out for the equipment.

4. How many tests can be done per day?

You can do 24 tests/day per machine.

5. Is this a revenue share business model?

No, there are no revenue sharing aspects to the program. Unlike competitive models, compliant with Stark Laws and anti-kickback statutes.

6. How much does Medicare reimburse for the test?

Depending upon your state, Medicare reimburses $947-$1,017+ per test (current panel) at 100% allowable with no cost to the patient.
